Join us for our 2018/2019 School Year Kickoff Event at the Hernando Public Library, August 17, 2018 at 10am on the second floor.
North Mississippi Home Educators Association (NMHEA) is a support group for home schooling moms. Our monthly gathering often gives us a fresh view of our priorities as women of God and invigorates us in the pursuit of educating our children. Through scheduled field trips our children also enjoy fellowship and social events with other home educated children.
More than friends, we are sisters in Christ! Our focus is to glorify God in our homes, the education of our children, and the fellowship time we share. The below statements reflect our view of the role God has given us and our corresponding responsibilities.
- We view our vocation of wife and mother as our highest calling.
- We believe personalized instruction is the best education our children can receive.
- We believe that building positive relationships with each other, strengthens us spiritually as Christians and supports us emotionally as women.
- We believe that through sharing our experiences and ideas, we can advance and improve the education we provide our children.
24 Let us consider how we can stir up one another to love. Let us help one another to do good works. 25 Let us not give up meeting together. Some are in the habit of doing this. Instead, let us cheer each other up with words of hope. Let us do it all the more as you see the day coming when Christ will return.
